Romuald Twardowski Prof. Romuald Twardowski from Warsaw (Poland) The head of the Jury.
Composer and lecturer born in Vilnius. He studied piano and composition in Julius Juzeliunas’ class at State Academy of Music of Lithuanian SRR in Vilnius. His composing studies he continued in Warsaw Academy of Music in years in Bolesław Woytowicz class. In year 1963 and 1966 he studied Gregorian chant and medieval polyphony in Nadia Boulanger class in Paris. He is a laureate of many prizes and distinctions. His composition “Antifone per tre gruppi d’orchestra” (1961) won 1st prize of Polish Young Composers competition, and in year 1963 he took 2nd place in year 1963 in International Composers meetings of UNESCO in Paris; in year 1966 for his “Sonetti di Petrarca per tenore solo e due cori a cappella” (1965) he received 1st prize at International Composers’ Competition in Prague. In year 1965 and 1973 he received 1st prize in International Composers’ Competition in Monaco. In year 1994 he received the prize of AGEC – West European Federation of Choral Societies and the prize of Polish Composers Association. In year 2006 he won Paderewski Prize. Since 1971 Romuald Twardowski has been the Professor of Warsaw Academy of Music. He is the jury member of many choir competitions and the Artistic Director of prestigious International Festival of Orthodox Church Music “Hajnówka”. He composed numerous brilliant compositions for choirs, orchestras, soloists and musical ensembles.
Ko Matsushita

Ko Matsushita (Tokyo, Japan) A Conductor and a Composer; Born and raised in Tokyo; Graduated top of his class from the Kunitachi College of Music, Department of Composition; Finished his Chorus Conductor master course at Kodály Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary; Studied under Yuzuru Shimaoka, Koichi Uzaki, Thomas Meyer-Fiebig, Mohay Miklo’s for composing, Late Reményi János, Erdei Péter for chorus conducting, Masamitsu Takahashi for orchestral conducting, and Somoriai Paula for singing.
Mr Ko Matsushita is taking multifaceted approaches with choral music by conducting, composing and teaching. He composes and arranges choral pieces, which are performed not only in Japan but all around the world. He also acts as resident conductor and artistic director of 10 choirs, which perform both in Japan and abroad, achieving excellent reports in competitions they participate in. Recently, one of his choir, Chamber choir “Vox Gaudiosa” won the Grand Prix international competition “Concorso Polifonico Internazionale Guido d’Arezzo 2011" in Italy. From around the world he receives many invitations to act as a guest conduct, judge competitions and teach in choral lectures and workshops. In 2010, he became guest conductor of Beijing University Student Choir. Furthermore, he has won best conductor’s award and prizes for superior composition in various international competitions. In 2005, Mr Matsushita became the first Asian to receive the “Robert Edler Prize for Choral Music”. This award is bestowed on the best conductor, composer, or choir for their extraordinary endeavors throughout that year around the globe.
He has dedicated his works to American, Hungarian, Spanish, Norwegian, Latvian, Polish, Dutch, Taiwanese, Singaporean, Chinese and Japanese choirs and ensembles.
Mr Matsushita’s works are performed by a large number of choirs from all over the world.
His works are mainly published by Edtion KAWAI (Japan), Ongaku-no-tomo edtion (Japan), Carus-Verlag, stuttgart (Germany), Sulasol (Finland) Annie Bank Edition (Holland). In 2012, with his choir won 1st place at the Krakow Advent & Christmas Choir Festival (Poland).

Javier Busto Javier Busto (Spain)
Born in Hondarribia (Basque Country-Spain) in 1949. Graduated in Medicine by the University of Valladolid. Initiated into choral music by Erwin List. Conductor of mixed choir Ederki Korua in Valladolid (1971-1976). Founder-Conductor of mixed choir, Eskifaia Abesbatza in Hondarribia (1978-1994). Founder-Conductor of female choir, Kanta Cantemus Korua (1995 - 2007). Founder-Conductor of female choir, Aqua Lauda Korua (2014) His scores are being published in Basque Country, France, Germany, Japan, USA, United Kingdom and Sweden. Takes part as a jury in composition and interpretation competitions for choirs, in Arezzo, Rimini and Nuoro-Cerdeña (Italy), Antalya (Turkey), Baden (Österreich), Debrecen (Hungary), Ejea de los Caballeros (Spain), Hamar (Norway), Las Palmas de G.C. (Spain), Maasmechelem (Belgium), Maribor (Slovenia), Mérida (Venezuela), Montserrat (Catalunya-Spain), Neerpelt (Belgium), Riga (Latvia), Split (Croatia), Takarazuka (Japan), Tours (France), Tolosa (Basque Country- Spain) and Yeosu (South Korea). Guest Conductor in Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norwegian, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, USA and Venezuela. Invited at IV World Symposium on Choral Music in Sydney, Australia (August 1996). GOLDEN BADGE in his hometown, Hondarribia (1999). ORFEÓN DONOSTIARRA & UNIVERSITY OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY AWARD (2012).
Irina Roganova Irina Roganova (Gatchina St. Petersburg, Russia) Honored artist of Russian Federation, president of Association 0f Conductors of Children and Youth choirs  NW of Russia, member of Presidium of Russian Choral Society,  conductor of youth cappella “Harmony” and other choirs. Roganova is graduate of St-Petersburg Conservatory, head of choir department in the musical school in Gatchina-St-Petersburg, artistic director of competitions and festivals for children and youth choirs “Rainbow”, “Gatchina’s Rainbow” , composer’s competition  “Choral Laboratory XXI с.”, author of  methodic articles and music programs.
Rihards Dubra Damijan Močnik (Kranj, Slovenia) He completed his musical studies, under the tutelage of Professor Dane Škerl, at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in 1991, where, along with excellent grades, he won the Student Prešeren Award for the outstanding student for his Symphonic movement for symphony orchestra. He developed his craft by studying abroad, which included coaching with famed Swedish conductor Eric Ericson. Since 1993, Močnik has been the choral conductor and music director at the Diocesan Classical Gymnasium in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and since 2000, the artistic director of all musical activities at the St. Stanislaus Institution in Ljubljana. In 1999, the World Youth Choir with Gary Graden performed two of his compositions, his “Missa in organi benedictione” was performed for the first time with Chamber Choir Slovenicum at the official presentation of the new organ in the Franciscan Church in Ljubljana. In 2000, three cantatas by Damijan Močnik were premiered: “Tempus fugit” was performed on the occasion of the reconsecration of St. Joseph’s Church in Ljubljana. The combined high school choirs and the Slovenian Philharmonic also performed Vode novega neba / Waters of New World in the Jeunesse Musicale of Ljubljana Music Series and Pesem moja je posoda tvojega imena was performed in Kranj on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of famed Slovenian poet, France Prešeren. Močnik’s cantata “Circulus aeternus” was conducted by Malcolm Goldring at the Europa Cantat Singing-Week 2004 in Ljubljana. His tenure as composer-in-residence in 2006, at the Bavarian Musikakademie in Marktoberdorf, resulted in a new score: “IM-MORALIA”. And he was invited to be the leader of the Composer's Conducting workshop at the Europa Cantat 2006 in Mainz, Germany. In 2007 (October-November), he was invited to Washington in the United States. He performed a concert of his compositions on Orcas Island with their choir and orchestra. He gave lectures about his composing activities in Seattle at the University of Washington and at Seattle Pacific University, where he conducted eight of his choral compositions. Močnik's music thrills musicians and audiences around the world with its directness, and numerous dramatical turns with rich, exceptional and mysterious sonorities.
